In contemplating the new season, after having moved to Seattle, I have been returning to a simple few thoughts about life and perfection and grace and how they are all puzzle pieces between our hearts. I have returned to the remembrance that life won't ever be perfect, that relationships will not be as you expected, and that your dreams may change the older you grow. But here's what you can count on: the beauty that things will rarely go as expected. The beauty that this is where grace most often begins. And the realization that releasing your own expectations of the world is where you most often receive it. Release is the little gap in between. When you find yourself in between worlds, my friends, breathe deep, and release. At first, you may think you're falling down the rabbit hole with Alice, but you will not long realize that you are only being set free. Along with these contemplations, I find deeper freedom within myself as I tumble downward, deeper still. And this quotation comes to mind as I would only want to be and continue being while releasing and receiving and I would only want that to heal and help and build up others: "I would like to be known as an intelligent woman, a courageous woman, a loving woman, a woman who teaches by being." -Maya Angelou Today, may you go forth empowered in your own skin, and free.
